Actually both are perfect guitars!!! Really!!

You have the best of both worlds, i.e., if comparing to say Strat/Les Paul style guitars.

What I do is interchange pickups between the factory and a variety of others that I have, depending on the genre of music I'll be playing.

Get both if you can, the "feel, neck and fretboard" are much more user friendly than the two mentioned above, and the quality is outstanding. :)

if you can score yourself a 20th I'd go that route. As they're quite rare the Axis is still available but the 20th is not. All the best with your search it's a great feeling getting a new guitar :)

Jim, I think he was interested in a 20th Silo.

Either one will do 80's rock. Both are killer. I'd have to give the edge to the Silo though. EBMM has the best vintage trem setup in the biz. It has the tuning stability of the Floyd without the headaches of the setup, restringing. Plus, the forearm contour is very comfortable.

Give some thought to the regular Silo as well. As jim pointed out, the flexibility of pickup combos really makes it easy to change sounds. You can go humbucker heavy, then change the pg out and have single coil goodness.

Nitro - looks like chicks  but hey, you too can have the hair style, any hairdresser and $200 should do it unless you're bald..

That would also fit for the Axis Supersport.

I'd say play them both and then decide.
