I was browsing basscentral.com and noticed they have a few BFRs already in stock. But one in particular caught my attention, look at this!!

That's the closest I've ever seen to a violin finish on a guitar or bass. Simply awesome. If I ever wanted a 4 string, I'd get exactly that one!

Such a top and a maple neck with non-macthing headstock would put me into deep trouble!! OTOH, there's currently a nicely flamed, rosewood with matching headstock HH on the bay for an awesome price. I might already be in deep trouble... :rolleyes:

Phatty, yours is truly beautiful. My wife actually saw yours and asked when I was ordering one of those! Now she never says that, rather that I have too many basses. That should tell you how beautiful that beast is!

Those are beauties (the BFR STerlings AND you guys' 20th's). I want the one that's like yours, but Tahitian Blue. :)
