Graphite for Phatty!

new Sterling 5 - need PG recommendations

So based on Mingus' post earlier I took a look at guitarcenter.com and bought a Sterling 5 HH for a steal!

The specs are:
sterling 5 hh, Graphite pearl, RW fretboard, non-matching headstock

I have NO idea what PG is on it but I have a random hunch that it's black. Now what pickguard do you guys recommend?

I'm thinking vintage pearl? No ideas? maybe some folks at the factory have seen a few cool combos that I/we havent thought of

Vintage pearl won't be the best option I think. Graphite pearl is kinda "futuristic" looking. Better go with something like plain white, leave it black or (if you can get a hold of one) a white/black ice guard.

I'm in the same boat as the duck - I just snagged a Graphite Pearl / RW Sterling 5H from MF for a silly low price, too.

Maybe Moonstone or Black Pearl? White Pearl is my usual default PG choice, but I don't know how it would look with Graphite Pearl and rosewood.

Did EBMM kill the configurator? That was a useful tool for playing what-if.

Graphite Pearl seems to be one of those colors that really changes based on lighting. In some pics it's very gray, and in others it gets a smoky brown tinge. How about this combination? What's this - Black Ice?

im thinking something to brighten up the bass. w/ the RW fretboard I think I wanna get a PG that will "cheer up" the overall look. make sense?

To brighten it up white pearl - I personally love black pearl and black ice on Graphite pearl

thanks foggy. guitars would be fine as long as its a RW board. just wanna see what color combos look like... dont really care if its a guitar or bass.

Any chance of ones with rosewood and white pearl or black pearl? IMO Moonstone is a little "loose", black pearl should be tighter looking.
