What do you think?

Also, I would appreciate any suggestions on where to obtain one.

I'm voting clear. I have a blue dawn bongo 5 that I'm going to try a clear guard on soon, and when my cabernet bfr bongo 5 comes in it will probably get a clear guard too. I tried emailing Dazbootman about some guards but I never got any replies. I ran across this place called Chandler Guitar and they offer pickguards in many materials. They also have a phone number and you can talk to somebody on the phone. All you have to do is google them and the info is not hard to find.

I have a clear on my Stingray (Burnt Apple) and one of my Bongos (Sapphire Black) and they look awesome! Go clear!

Got mine from Bryan Boots

New Clear Plexi Music Man Sterling Pickguard! - eBay (item 270342645977 end time Mar-12-09 01:29:01 PDT)

At the time he did not have a Bongo 4HH pickguard, so I sent him mine and he made a template out of it, sent it back to me with the clear PG and now he is able to make them. I don't know if he has any for Bongo 5HH. If not then contact him and do like I did. I am very happy with my pickguards. He does excellent work.

Not bad, but I prefer the original look. Props for trying it, if you like it more, keep it.
