Well, I don't think he should be 'banned'. I don't think it is a rule that you have to currently own a EBMM guitar to be a member of the board.

Take care Blackmore. When the time is right, get yourself a Silhouette or Axis and I am sure you will find a new 'main' axe.

Fair play- if you dig les pauls fair enough. I think EBMM guitars and Les pauls are different beasts altogether. Personally I would love a les paul- all my guitar heroes play/played them, but I don't get on with them. Why don't you get hold of a SS and use it for some F***** tones?

It's not the end of the world as some others here may be implying :) Stick around!

.... with emg 81 and 85 in.....

Gutted you didn't gel with the Sub, fella.

Don't stray far though, the Sub responds very well to tinkering. A set of EMGs in that bad boy would have rocked.

Here's hoping for a return to EBMM guitars, maybe with your fave EMG combo?

i also think u are being a bit harsh, chill out guys it hasent gone yet

To be fair, your first post says you've exchanged it.

Also it was like April 18th when you said the Sub 1 was "bloody great." That was only 6 weeks ago...

You certainly have the right to your opinion. But coming to a company-sponsored board to talk about another brand...

Think about it.

It certainly isn't a dictatorship. I think it's a shame you didn't get on with the Sub- neither did I. I tried 3 Sub guitars. Even for £139 i didn't want to spend money on it. I'm happy with my Luke, ASS and SS. I'm also happy with my 109 quid Peavey generation which i keep in the boot of my car- I'm certainly not a guitar snob or anything.

I think this forum is great- well balanced opinions and advice I'm certainly bordering on what you would call a "fan boy"- and I pretty much wouldn't play anything else. But I find it poor that people are posting negative coments just because someone doesn't get on with a guitar. It's bordering on embarassing. I really hope it's banter and nothing else.

EDIT: I mean 279 quid for the subs I tried- not 139!

I for one am merely sorry that the SUB didn't work for you. But not every guitar is right for the person that buys it. God knows I've sold my guitar collection over and over again for the same reasons. I've always come back to EBMM.

Definitely stick around. I have a feeling that the ZW won't last long. Get thee an Axis Super Sport with rosewood fretboard!!
