If I got to spec it, then yes.

If I had to take whatever the factory wanted to give me (i.e. if it was like a BFR), then probably not.

Being a one-of-a-kind is cool, but not cool enough to pay huge coin for. I mean, I've already got what is probably a one-off (07 LE Bongo 5 Hp lined fretless).

I actually prefer to see the cool stuff that comes out of the factory. Great ideas that wouldn't occur to me. Every so often, just buy one of 'em.

Unless its a combination that the factory can already supply, like a BFR RW Neck on a 25th, then I'd say no.

I'm a huge fan of what the company produces, and I'm all for availability to anyone without red tape.

The only thing I'd pay custom for, or more coin for, would be a personalized paint job, but that's it.

I'd take a one-off of some kind if they'd let me build it using current or previously available options. And here's what it'd be:

JP7 with solid mahogany body, solid painted in DD2, all rosewood neck, JP inlays, headstock painted to match, piezo, and the switching of the 25th.

Then my answer is definitely no. I would be extremely content with using the standard Silhouettes. The BFRs, Gold Rollers and 25ths are very nice guitars and I would love to get one, but the price tag puts them out of reach for me.

Probably not, to be honest. Outside of some sort of custom paint job or hardware color, I think I can get pretty much everything I want from the current available options. Maybe I'm just unimaginative, but I've got five or six current models in my sights before I could think about something custom.
