Nice neck, but I don't want a painted one on my JP!

As one who LOVES the unfinished neck, I must say the painted necks truly are faster. It was a concern before I bought one, no longer a concern. None whatsoever.
Appears that they will be ever more beautiful as well!!! Stunning

BP im just throwing a wild idea out there that I know probably doesnt make any sense from a production standpoint so Ill understand when you shoot it down... but you should have a small window for us forumites to order them with the Martini inlays, those are the coolest inlays I have ever seen on a guitar, especially since it corolates so perfectley with the green, NOTHING touches them, PERIOD! ( see how worked up im getting!!!!)

I'll legally go on the record and say that if the Dargie JP comes in BFR trim, (Mahog neck, tone block, painted neck), I WILL buy one. And my Mystic Dream JP6 and Amethyst Flame BFR will hang proudly beside it!

Not that the man can't change his mind, but this would lead me to believe that's not happening.
THe JP is a one off the smoke pearl doesnt work for production and the necks wont be painted.....

just a follow up. it was francric that turned me onto the dd al. his was the only one with piezos. also, francric posted pics of the guitar on BIRDS AND MOONS. i'm still blown away and when i saw pics of the big poppa al, it pushed me over the edge. i was thinking of pulling the trigger on another PRS, but i think i'll wait until the dargy and big poppa al's come out. it's wild how a guitar that has been out for years can suddenly gobsmack you! i guess i never noticed before because i preferred rosewood fingerboards. if i were to put the al in late sixties car terms(the blue bp is a perfect example), it would be a ford fairlane with a 429!! cool body style with enough muscle to blow yo doors off! have mercy!!!

If and only if the Dargie 2 comes in a BFR with the JP inlays I'll be all over it like my x-girlfriends hand across my face after I told her I wanted to break up!
can I win on this one at least...
