Out of interest, does the BFR come with the finished neck? I gathered there were some production issues initially with this?

Nothing changes on the model except for no BFR inlays, finish color, and ebony board.

I imagine that it will be finished if you get e BFR luke, yes. (BFR's have mahoghany neck, must be painted)

Lefty, only the Koa top BFR Lukes have mahogany necks, the maple top ones come with the unpainted maple necks.
