Does anyone have a confirmation on the wait period on the DD2 yet? And I'm assuming they're all going to be build to order right? I just need to figure out if I'll have the dough up by the time the guitar arrives at the dealer. Thanks.

Check out this screen shot I took from YouTube of JP playing the Dargie. Is this simply a function of lighting, or does this color exist somewhere in the spectrum of the green to gold shift?

that's interesting. It may have to do with lighting, because I've seen pics of the mystic dream color where I have seen hints of an orangey-gold color.

I'm guessing lighting.
Either that, or LaBrie's got a Dargie II coloured hairline and forearm

I dont think anyone can give you a definite answer, somewhere between September and November most likely.

The most recent Dargie 2 that I ordered was on 28 July and it is estimated to ship to me on 18 September. Sometimes they come out a few weeks ahead of schedule, sometimes they come out right on schedule, and sometimes they come out a few weeks behind schedule. Your wait will be similar if you are in the USA.

I never heard if the new Dargie II will have a similar "Limited Edition" silkscreen on the back of the guitar like the original Dargies...?

I wasn't a fan of the DDII finish until I saw JP playing one live last night in person. It is actually a REALLY cool finish! It's like a Mystic Dream with a apple cinnamon twist.
