Big gig, bling it on

On Saturday night our Grease & Saturday Night Fever tribute show band is doing a club gig in a theatre-style auditorium that seats 800. The club is one of the top 10 largest in Australia, and the in-house sound and lighting production regularly wins industry awards.

The father of one of our vocalists is also the club's lighting operator, so we know we'll be looked after nicely on the night

Ticket sales are already more than 500, so this means one thing ....... it's time to break out the bling!

I took the 30th to rehearsal this week and after 5 minutes I was reminded why BP says it's the best Stingray ever - great tone, looks, and feel (I actually happen to love the glossy neck).

I've got some friends and family coming to the gig and I've hounded them to take cameras, so hopefully There will be some 30th Anniversary gig pics to post in a couple of days

Mark you'll never believe this... I played there!

It is a very nice place, I seem to remember there was a curtain, so watch where you sit your guitars.
