id like a 25th with the all rosewood neck, insane tiger flamed top and hss configuration.. 4 or 5 really doesnt matter!
or a gold roller big al..

oh oh.. id like both of them with the gamechanger..
im a sucker for things with usb connections. you wouldnt believe how much harassment i got for the miele washing machine that could be reprogrammed through the usb port.. heheh

you know.. the best part is that these things actually could happen :)

MrM

They could happen because we've all been pretty realistic... plus, BP could be lurking....

Cosmetics only. The sound and functionality are perfect "as is".

Big Al. 5 string. No pickguard (or just a pick guard over the controls). Trans or natural finish (maybe blood red).

I'm not crazy over the shape of the current pickguard. The top of it seems to meander and it covers up a whole lot of cool looking bass top.

i was over at the gittar side of things and looking at that humbucker equipped small al..

gold roller al, 3 humbuckers, gamechanger and the finishing touch would be the logo made from a sheet of white gold..
oh.. and a wireless connection that works both for audio and for controlling it with my iphone..

please???? :D ;)

Well, the factory keeps pushing out wilder things than I could possibly think of (which is why I won't go into that business :D) but then again, let's go wild: how about focussing on very special appearances of otherwise (close to) stock instruments?

Something like this: BFR Artist Series - Bongo 4 or 5 H, ebony fingerboard, fretted or fretless, black or satin hardware, satin white finish plus Pollock paintjob (Blue Poles, 1952).

Edit: oh, no pickguard then, please! :)

Yesterday evening when mulling over my preorder of the SG vintage 'Ray, it suddenly occurred to me what a dream MM bass would be that'll never happen:

StingRay 4 HH with maple neck, old style string through body bridge with mutes, Surf Green, white pickguard and possibly white PU covers.

Right now I am thinking my dream EBMM would be a Big Al 5, with 18mm or 18.5mm string spacing at the bridge and a 25th Anni. shaped satin finished neck, 8 to 8.5 lbs, rosewood fingerboard, in either black/tort or Olive Gold.
