I like the Excalibur idea. At NAMM, you guys can have it stuck in a rock. All of us guitar posers can't pull it out, but you get some 10 year kid to pull out the guitar. Then he will be the world's next biggest shredder. (My son wants to go to NAMM next year.) ;)

..... or Jack Black. Sounds like something he would be perfect for. :)

Texas Finally!
First, BP has said and I have said it the 25th is not an Axis or Axis Super Sport, period, it is a unique and totally different guitar, whatever they decide to call it is OK with me, just glad it is gong into production.

now have to get this fing left elbow issue fixed so i can get one, hopefully sooner than later.

betting that the standard production model is not going to be released until NAMM next year but what the hell do I know could be totally wrong on that.

Just to demonstrate how much I have bought into this, is anyone willing to consider that BP and Crew haven't even thought of a name yet?

And perhaps they're just pulling our legs?

I get unnerved whenever BP follows a post with "hehehehehehehe"

If BP doesn’t have a name already, which I doubt. He be gettin ideas from us on this thread. So much for a Deluxe 25 as I found this...

Deluxe 25 is a Fender Jazzmaster/Jaguar clone that was produced in DDR in the early 70's. There was also a model called Deluxe 25V which had a tremolo (in this case "V" stands for "vibrato"). The sound of the guitar is relatively thin, with no sustain. This is probably due to the weak neck heel screwed to the body with two screws only.

Man that would have been a perfect name:(. I forgot about Vigier guitars:mad:

I guess that we have to go back to the second most obvious choice:
Ernie Ball Music Man - Xerophthalmias

It's just as catchy...

Here's a little history behind this great name, it's very close to Excalibur:

" A disease caused by deficiency of vitamin A. It is characterized by drying of the tear ducts resulting in degeneration of the transparent part of the eye, leading to ulceration of the cornea and blindness. It is the commonest preventable cause of blindness worldwide. "

Nice!;)
