I'm surprised because it seemed there were tobaccos all over the BFR page... must have been a lot of store orders initially and then a complete drop off. It seemed so popular.

The Amethyst never seemed popular (odd how people are different... I LOOOOOVE mine. lol)

The green didn't seem to popular either which is surprising because green figured tops seem to do so well with other companies.

The Ruby was always the one I never liked and I don't know why... I usually like red figured tops. Maybe my eye just wants to see more on the brick side of things...

The cherry burst is there... I'm curious what the other replacement colors will be... something to look forward to. :)

Anything that keeps EBMM going is good, even if the colors were nice.

But: one of the reasons I'm homing in on a non-BFR is actually the lack of Pacific Blueburst in the BFR line-up. If that color however gets added for 2010 I'd frankly be bummed out, as I am about to pull the trigger on a regular Axis in PBB...:(. Any info on that?

All i can say is if you like a colour just buy the damn thing and that way you dont have to miss it when it's gone. I'm glad i got my tobacco burst Luke, it was too good of a colour to pass up.

I liked the amethyst on the Petrucci, but probably because I'm a Paul Allander fan (1) and don't want a PRS (2).

Damn, if I could ever get my hands on a BFR it would either be Amethyst or Emerald.

Nothing says BAM like a purple of green guitar.

I say ditch 'em all and become Ernie Ball Naked Man guitars! Ala' natural alla' time! :D Let that wood shine through! It's "green" in that other way. Since this idea is doubtful, might I suggest a silverburst! Silverburst Reflex - SOLD!! :D

This is sad news for me...
I had plans for both a Tobacco JP6 and an Emerald JP Baritone...

Guess I just can't keep up with EBMM.

A natural ash piezo trem BFR SiLO with a roasted flame neck

Please please please, I've tried to be good.

The best color is the one from the wood manufacturer. Then all it needs is shine.
