Scott - I think it is Sapphire Black but not positive. I purchased it from Guitar Center in Columbus. I went in to get strings 
and the rest is history. I fell in love with it - it is so different from my other Balls, had to go for it.
Edited to add - it is my first brand new EBMM and a very welcome addition

Looks like Graphite Pearl. In fact they had one just like that at the Cherry Hill Guitar Center in NJ, and it sure was beautiful! First time I'd seen the color with a natural headstock.

Well it's a good day when you go in for strings and come out with a guitar. I agree with you 100% I was into Ibanez RG's before coming to EBMM. Those and the Prestige Ibanez models are great guitars but IMHO the JP blows them outta the water. If you get a chance try one of the BFR JP's. You could walk out with one of those, too.

Nice guitar congrats. I have it my self and it is a real pleasure every time, I pick it up to play.. Sounds great and looks awsome. Anyway once again congrats with the new member to the pretty amazing collection of musicmans
