The top is much more subdued "in person", the camera flash really brings it out at the right angle. The fretboard is not as light as the photo looks either. Good luck with yours. They're fantastic guitars.

I find the same is true of my Amethyst BFR JP7. The camera flash really brings out the quilt.

Holy crap, DO WANT!!!! That is gorgeous, the flash really brightens up the color (it would be cool if it was that pinkish-purple in hue in person, although I know it's darker without the flash) in a good way. Love it!

It all depends on the lighting. If I'm on stage with lights coming down on me and the guitar, you can see the quilt really well. My house doesn't get very good natural light. I'm going to have to get some outdoor shots on the next sunny day we have.

The color is pretty true to life in that photo.
