Kind of in the same boat as I have a 25th and am looking for a strap.

I'm holding out for a 4" black Moody strap with suede on the inside.

This bass is that worthy.

Too right it is :D

Now quite apart from people performing in cricket whites I have heard it said that in the disco era certain artists played MM basses in white suits! Just a thought for anyone doing music of that era :)

Way off topic - sorry guys!

Well that was a very quick delivery from the seller, I ordered it yesterday and it arrived today, super!

So... which one did I go for? It was a very close call between B and C but B looked too dark and the tan matches the maple and the binding perfectly. I know my 25th is not here yet, but I have put the strap on my red Stingray 5 to see what it looks like, of course translucent red is not Venetian Redburst but is the closer thing I had to hand...

Here is what it looks like on it. And not a Chino in sight...

I'm a huge El Dorado fan. Expensive, yes. High quality, absolutely. The vintage straps are great.

I didn't vote 'cause you already took delivery. However, I'm with leond- I'm getting the Moody's 4-inch black and red leather for my 25th. Awesome!

No, unfortunately with the controls mounted on the pickguard, swapping them is not as easy as it would be for a Bongo or a Sterling.

I am not really keen on dismounting the preamp just in case I might bend or crack a knob.

(Now, who would do such a thing?) :D :D :D

That looks gorgeous with the maple neck. You might want to keep that on there and order a second strap. ;)

Now that I see how well that strap matches the maple of the neck on your Stingray, I'm guessing that's going to look *fantastic* on the 25th Anniversary.

This is what I went with! The pictures don't do it justice, hastily done on my first cup of coffee this morning. I like it and have many great comments! ;)

Wow Dom, that is another excellent match, with your 25th.

See? We are starting a trend of "pret-a-porter" straps, as fashion accessories, and why not? cool

Italia Straps?

Sorry to drift off into other strap products.... anybody ever try a Italia Strap? italiastrap.com 2-for-1 sale going on, lots of combos to choose from depending on your mood that day? Trying to get a nice strap on the Christmas list -- me too, something to match the 25th Bass with RW FB.
