Joel

Joel how do you like the Remedy? I wanted to try one before getting my Electra Dyne but there is no Z dealer close by. I read on the Z forum that someone said theirs was a little noisy. Is there plenty of clean headroom? This will probably be my next amp purchase.

Another Princeton Reverb RI user here; great cleans. I'm using a FullDrive II to add the grit.

One of these days (whenever I stop spending money flipping guitars) I'll have to move on to either a Dr. Z Maz 18 (1-12 version), a Headstrong Li'l King (hand wired Princeton clone with a 12" speaker) or a PRS Sweet 16 combo. Or maybe I'll go back to channel switching amps with a Mesa Express 5:25 (probably the 12" speaker version).

Well... my main amp for band playing is a Diezel VH-4s that is fed through a Lee Jackson 4x12 with custom Eminences - IMHO the greatest higain channel switching amp out there.

However, lately my heroics have been done mainly at home... and for this purpose my Blackheart Little Giant "stack" with a Blackstar HT-Dual absolutely rocks.

Cheers

2 Randall MTS Amps:
RM100 head w/ Randall MTS 2X12 cab loaded w/ V30s, modules: EG5 modded, XTC and Deluxe.
RM50 combo loaded with modules: Brown and 1086.

I run both of these at the same time when possible, using Radial Twin-City ABY box. the modular system by Bruce Egnater is really a great thing for tone chasers, you can really get a wide variety of amp tones with each module.

Mesa Dc-5 50 watt combo, I love being able to tweak the tone so specifically with the 5 frequency controllers plus the standard mid bass treb; it almost has too much balls so I also have a Vox ad30vt, a GREAT amp for the money, guitar center actually gave me the model up on accident when I bought it and it sounded sooo much worse that I had to go back and get the downgrade(they were more then happy to oblige) My dad also has an old Seymour Duncan 40 watt(rare!) and some custom amps built for him that I get to play once in a while.

How do I like the Remedy? I dig it. Alot. Well worth the price of admission. Have not had any noise concerns .... although it is plenny loud when paired up with a 212, 210 or even a 112 cab. :D

On the full-power (40 watt) setting, there is clean head-room available. And, the half-power is nice too. Have run a Remedy thru z-best 212 cab with a band and found it went from clean to a lil' mean quite nicely. Really like the way it works with the Super Sports (and even a coupla non-ebmm guitars) :)

cheers always, eh
