It would be nice for them to win, a feel good story for sure! Many expect the Colts to win, so it would make it even better. It would certainly lift the spirits of the Bayou community, and finally put and end to the "Aints" name! I can't imagine they really need an excuse to party on Bourbon Street, but a Super Bowl win might cause a party until Wednesday!

Yep, I also noticed that a Jets thread got shut down pretty much immediately. Saints thread? Not so much.

I love the New York football Giants. My dad was a fan and I inherited his sickness. But I grew up not far from New Orleans. And this has been a LONG time coming.

Who shut down the Jets thread? I maybe didn't see it.

When I was a little knucklehead I liked the Colts (Johnny Unitas fan). My father's side of the family is from Baltimore.

But then they SCREWED the City of Baltimore. As I understand it, they literally left in the middle of the night to go to bed with Indianapolis and didn't tell anyone they were going to do it. Didn't even give Baltimore a chance to try to keep the team in its original home.

Okay, so that's a straight business decision and nothing to get too worked up about. But it was horribly disrespectful to the people who actually keep the team fed: The fans. Imagine being a Baltimore fan and waking up to that. They even took all the trophies and memorabilia with them.




So yeah, I'm pulling for the Saints.
