something about those guitars makes them special
they just sound great and if you don't like it you can always resale it for the same price so you wont loose money, worth giving it a try

I can't imagine leaving it in a case. Of course I never had any plans to sell it so all the knicks and scratches just add character....
It really is a fine piece of craftsmanship. It sounds great whether plugged in or not.
I plan on handing mine down to my son one day.

Like others have stated, you will not lose on the deal. It will be money well spent.
If you need to have a guitar body with a carved top for comfort, you may not like this then. Post a pic. If you don't buy it, I am sure 10 other people on the Forum will

I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I'd just save a few houndred quid and buy a new Axis - it's simply an improved EVH (changed switch position, added belly contour and made the neck slightly wider at the heel).
