And why would that be "of course"?
The 25th anniversary guitar has been around for more than just 1 year so why wouldn't it be possible that the jp 10th anniversary guitar would be available after 2010 like the 25th anniversary has been? It doesn't say anywhere that it is a limited run so that's why I'm asking. If it's a 10th anniversary guitar it should be able to be bought after 2010 aswell. If it's a limited 2010, then I understand. But it doesn't say anywhere that it's a limited edition.

25th orders were only taken within a certain timeframe.

I believe it's still available.

Yes there are still some in stock at dealers but the order window for the 25th Anniversary models closed back in October 2009. The guitar and bass live on as the Reflex models.

Regarding the JPX - I thought that it was going to be a standard model even though it was introduced for an anniversary - just like the Steve Morse Y2D was announced to celebrate Steve's 20th year with EB but it is still an active model 5 years later.

There's basically no doubt that EBMM will continue the guitar in some form. AFAIK, only the 20th Silhouette was a limited anniversary run... the others, the SMY2D and 25th Anniversary model, live on... so I think it's fair to assume that the JPX will continue being produced after this year is over.

Especially since John himself will likely continue to use it...

Well, I thought it was still available to order. Both the guitar and bass are still listed on the Music Man site.:)

The JPX will be available next year just like the SMy2d is still available. There is no "anniversary" in the name and EB considers it a standard model. It will be available until it stops selling or EB decides enough is enough.

The 25th Anniversary MusicMan is no longer available to order (only in 2009).
The 20th Anniversary Silo is no longer available to order (only in 2006).

So JPX will be available forever until EB decides to not sell it anymore for whatever reason. Great!

Now speaking about colors, a JPX Dargie would be quite awesome. But if they released a JPX DDIII, then I would need to buy a JPX DDIII and a JP6 DDIII. Argh!
