That is a great reply. I suspect in the "old days" that you attempted to get along with all the guys in the guitar shops and I bet some of them took time to help you along the way.

With Xmas coming I can see yr present list now... 4 kids...OK that equals 1 x Morse, 1 x Luke, 1 x JP6 & 1 x Al BFR.. yes, there really is a Santa haha

It's great to hear the guitar world from the female perspective as most of us guys probably don't realise how male orientated it used to be & probably in some places still is. Can remember 1970s rock gigs were maybe 85/90% male whereas now 60/40 maybe heading 50/50 (unless its a Bon Jovi or whatever but will excuse that)). So many of the acts now have female members in the band and they are damned good. Can only be good for music.

I am 41, married, a mom of 4 kids, and have been playing guitar since I was 13.

I have the utmost of respect for all mothers these days. I've been a single dad for nearly 2 years now looking after my 2 young daughters and 85 yr old father in law fulltime. Playing the guitar seems easy compared to getting meals ready cleaning, school etc. I don't know how you do it Beth
