Well that time is almost upon us - and I just put my marshall stack up for sale thus creating space in the smelly cave = retirement ce fin?

I've had a lot of time with my guitars recently and been ill so maybe the drugs are warping my already warped mind...

So - Here's my half baked thoughts on what I think might be at NAMM - some will be off the chain - on purpose!

  • GameCHanger IPhone app
  • Bongo Guitar
  • HH AL Flametop w/gold hardware
  • Reflex with flame tops
  • EB Gig Bag with extension speaker option
  • Relaunch of the SUB-1
  • Double-neck Reflex
  • HSS AL
  • Axis Redwood production
  • Something with recycled materials - 8 part glued bodies

Like I say some of that is 'out there' but my thoughts - what's yours?

My last wish came true when they released the 5 string Sterling. I guess for this year I would love to see:

Different fretboard options for the Y2D. I'd love to get a Y2D with a maple fretboard, although it may not look as sharp. Also, a non floating floyd rose. The website says it lowers pitch only, but every one I've played is floating.

Other than that, I think it would be cool to see some crazy colors. I always see some funky lime green EBMMs going around on ebay and other colors like that. Don't get me wrong, I think the trans colors look amazing, but I love loud colors like purples, yellows, greens, etc... There's a trans pink evh on ebay right now that looks spectacular!

Smelly you were 100% wrong!

LMAO, man Smelly batting the BIG ZERO:eek::p But a hell of a wish list, I really think the big thing at NAMM will be the GC and some new colors and maybe some more roasted goodies.

Most likely I wont be an early player this year have some house cleaning to do and such then go from there.

Now if we are wishing:eek: Some cool new green color with roasted on any model we want:)

BP and Co. take on a laboratory researcher theme by donning white lab coats and other scientific apparel to highlight the research invested in the gamechanger. Also adds a
Bit of the mad scientist angle too. Hehhehehe

  • New Luke with Kahler tremolo and 3 passive humbuckers
  • Morse Y2WTF model with HSSHSSH puckup config
  • Benji BFR
  • Roasted Maple/Black Sugar special editions are replaced by Charbroiled Pine/Brown Molasses editions for 2011
  • Petrucci quintuple neck: 12 string+JP6+JP7+JP6 BFR+JPX-6 (for all those knuckleheads that can't decide which to get)

I'm also having a major clear out on the grounds that I'm going to be investing in a few more EBMM guitars this year. Just about got all I need in effects and an amp so the guitar for me is it.

Looks like I'll be watching this forum a lot in January to get the latest on NAMM.

For me the GC is really getting my curioscity. Anything EBMM do with an Al is going to be good.

At the end of the day, I just love everything about EBMM as a guitar manfacturer. I think its closeness to us knuckleheads makes it stand ahead of the rest by a country mile. But, the difficulty is the business of making guitars that sell. In some respects thats always going to be the million dollar question - designing the guitar that appeals to a great audience than us forum members.

Good luck with GC EBMM and whatever else you tempt us with in 2011.

DUDE!!! you're killin me with your guesses... this looks like a train wreck if you ask me... but very funny!

I think i heard something about a Peterd79 Sig...

it's a 25th Anniversary Silo Archtop with Tobacco Burst- Mahog Body with Flame Maple top...
Roasted Flame maple neck
Gold hardware with an AT1 in the bridge and an Air Classic in the neck...

and for some strange reason it comes with a Boogie Mark V 2x12 combo...

Can't say my guesses weren't creative, eh?

The Peted79 signature model sounds pretty sweet to me, especially the whole MarkV thing.

Seriously though...wonder if we'll see some teaser pics soon?

Old skool; I love it!

To be fair, it would be nice to see a textured finish return....... "The Road Edition", battle ready with EMGs.

How about an Arch Top Axis with a Petrucci neck and available in Trans Green?!!! Seriously, I think it will be all about the Game Changer and some new colors.
