No, I'm not talking about racing cars :p

Ever since I first saw it, I've loved the look of burnt chrome. Maybe its just the pretty, swirly colours :D
Anyway, I had some spare pickup covers, so I decided to have a go at burning them.

Here's the first one, and the second as it was pre-burning for comparison;

I've never made pickups, but I have built a couple of guitars, and I've got another I'm about to start.
I wouldn't mind making pickups eventually, but it'll probably never happen :p

Way cool. They would look great on a Black guitar.
Yeah, I think they would.
I actually want to make a Steampunk-esque guitar and put either some of these or some heavily reliced pickups on it.
