Jay2306: Welcome and congrats! I don't know if you own any other EBMMs or not, but either way you are in for a treat. Stick around; this is a great forum. And of course, we expect some pics of that beauty when she arrives at the end of August. That is, if you can find the time to stop playing long enough to take a picture! :)

Thank you for the warm welcome here
My son plays a blue Musicman Luke and I may use them sometimes. you can see him in this clip:

‪03 "InsideOut" Backhanded Compliment Live in Rheinbach bei Popmotor im Ahorn‬‏ - YouTube

my own guitar is a 40 year old no name product - a stratocaster copy. The true gold would be my first EBMM and I am very excited. Once I have it, I'll make some pictures and show them here.

Sorry for my bad english, but I use for help google translator and I know, that this makes some grammatical mistakes, but I hope you can still check out what I mean - hahahaha

Hey guys,
I'm new to the forum aswell, and new to Music Man guitars. But the day before yesterday I finally picked up the (I think) the last Luke True Gold in The Netherlands.
Pics to come...

mine still gives me chills when I play. The perfect guitar.

I can't believe that anyone could play one (if you could still find one available) and not buy it. One of the sexiest guitars there is. voluptuous!

Nut on the Luke Gold

I've had mine for a couple months now (one of the first ones done I guess). The action was set too low when I got it, a lot of buzzing but easily fixed. Sound is awesome. Does anyone know much about the nut on it? I noticed the notches in there but nothing on the spec sheet about it. Just curious what the particulars are if any. Thanks,

CJ

I wouldnt say it doesn't affect the sound much, but the spectrum of tones from all the way down on the tone knob to all the way up is definitely not as broad as my other Lukes. It has a narrower range of tone.

BTW, guys did you check if this is the quick connect EMG kit or regular soldering that it is used now in the Luke

She has arrived safe and sound.

Geez that neck is sweet, even better than the other Luke.

Something has become glaringly obvious now that I bought my second EBMM, the build quality, finish and set up on the gear is second to none. Something the other companies out there should take note off.

Thank you guys & girls for 2 outstanding guitars...
