I'll be the first to say that I am so envious of that roasted reflex fretless. I gassed severely for this bass. You are fortunate! Lovely shots.

Is that a "Bass Face" or what!

I think Matt orders these basses just so there is at least one unlined fretless in existance of every special run. JOSH

Classic Ray Content

A couple of pics of my coral red classic in use on a recent gig at Bewicks in Maldon, a rock and roll club - note (non EB) matching coloured guitars also ;) far too many 'bass faces' going on but there you go!!

This band does covers of songs and instrumentals from the early sixties by British rockers Cliff Richard and the Shadows.

After a few comments I couldn't resist not to post this, ...wedding after party jam session (last Saturday), ...guitarist from competition band and famous older experienced drummer (unfortunately not visible on this one) both bride's relatives, ...so as my band-mate (singer) playing my reflex (Man he loves this bass :D ):

Spot the Musicman Bass

It hides behind an impressive array of metalwork :D

The first two songs in this set were:-
Night Train and Walking the Dog, so you should get the feel of the gig!

The first time I've used my SR4HH blue dawn on a gig for a long time - I'd forgotten just how good it is - wicked HH scooped slap tone ;) and excellent fingerstyle H sound.

mm bass and metalwork.jpg

PS sorry for the pic quality - difficult lighting and cellphone.

Two new pics from last Saturdays wedding gig, ...me sweating, sitting on the stool and playing my white reflex through never-ending set, on never-ending wedding. :D

And yes, ...I get older, there are some white hair noticeable on my new beard image  :
