Here is a little R&D Torture...Roasted Basswood Bongo..thats right a natural roasted basswood bongo...oh yeah and we roasted the neck while we were at it

Round inlays instead of the crescent ones too. Just an R&D touch?

Really nice looking Bongo - trying to imagine it with some transparent colors over the roasted basswood. Not that it's necessary though - looks great as is.

I'm not into Bongo's but that a beauty. Can't wait for NAMM 2012 to see what other goodies BP and the EBMM crew are going to be introducing.

I'll be honest ***jack and adouglas holding hands over ears*** I never cared for the look of the Bongo for many reasons... but I always thought they sounded and played really well.

That being said - I would seriously consider buying one of these! Beautiful! It looks like a piece of modern art! Wow!!
