Shhh, my sons are asleep. We are celebrating xmas a day early this year since it's my ex's turn to have them xmas morning.

Noah's been taking bass lessons for three years and plays bass in the middle school jazz band. Dargie 2 Big Al for him. He's 11.

Eric's been taking guitar lessons for four years. As hard as I try to influence him, no 80's stunt guitar for Eric, hence the Axis Super Sport. He's 14.

They are both serious musicians who treat their instruments with care. I felt it was time to bring them into the Ernie Ball Music Man fold. Sometime around 4am, they will be one of us Knuckleheads.

Here's a preview before I wrap these puppies up...

Thanks, neighbor :) My boys live in Massachusetts when they are at their mom's house, Jack. Great band programs.

I'm really proud of Noah...Jazz Band is grades 7 and 8 only, but he plays trumpet in the regular 6th grade band and he mentioned to the teacher that he plays bass. The teacher said that if he could read music and play a certain piece, he was in a year early. The next day, Noah rocked it and was in with his 8th grade brother in Jazz Band. Eric plays trombone.

Thanks, Scooby...Enjoy the holiday guys!

That is awesome! Those kids are going to have an excellent Christmas. I hope my kids some day get to the point I can bring them into the EBMM fold.

You pulled it off Bryan! I really want to see a pic of the looks on their faces when they see what Super Dad got them for Christmas.

Hi Mike,

Merry Christmas...I hope you and your family have a nice holiday!

Yes, I finally paid for these gifts! (I'm not loaded; I had to save up for these babies).
Special thanks to Keith Sweat for saving Eric's ebmm "Vault" Redwood Axis for me. Eric will have to do his own "first post n.g.d." for close up pics. I'll have Wendy take a group photo of us shortly for this thread.

Oh, and I gifted my green Axis Tribute to myself, too - I ordered it back in August, and received it a couple of months ago, but hid it away from the 'ol lady until this morning! She's not even mad. I have a great wife!
