Well, after I saw that Axis, I went ahead and put a down payment on a BFR JP7. Very, very excited on this one. Expect a detailed unboxing/NGD post upon delivery!!

AJ, I've got a question- on the PDN Honey Roasted page on the MM website, (PDN Honey Roasted) It says under inlays that the JP shield/bullets are NOT an option. Does that include the JP BFR versions? I love the idea of a BFR JP with the standard dots...

Damn, I´m so happy!

Today I got the confirmation email from the fine folks at BassCentral, saying that the Y2D PDN they´ll get is all mine!!!

Thanks to AJ for going beyond the call of duty and helping me out scoring this fine addition to my collection!!

"For the interested student..."

Yesterday I went through the list of Premier Dealers from the Music Man website and hit each website looking for photos of new PDN arrivals. Today I have other things to do (notice, i didn't say better) so it's somebody else's turn! I'm going out for a few hours and when I get back, I wanna see something new!

BTW, isn't a bit odd that somebody can be a premier dealer and yet not list any EBMM guitars at all? And there is one bad link in that list too, but I don't remember which one. A warm, friendly handshake, and the satisfaction of a job well done, is offered as a prize to whoever finds it. :)

Congratulations, Dave! Your warm friendly handshake is in the mail!

Dear God, that neck is infected!! Is it wrong that I want to put a tort pickguard on that LIII?
Somebody find me a Silhouette Special before I try to photoshop that Luke!

Nice! And yes it is blasphemy to put tort on anything hehe. Honestly I think that LIII would look better with black pickups and knobs. Really want to see the HSS version in natural lighting conditions.

Looks awesome that JP!

Would love to see closer pics of the neck though!

if you use the cursor on the left you have a complete pic of the back of the guitar
use the zoom function and you can see the neck in details
not so figured compare to other models posted here

Just got a call from bass central, saying mine was ready to ship... turns out it was the wrong guitar and I still have to wait a bit, but they told me they were getting about 5 PDN Honey Roasted instruments a DAY... so we're bound to see more pictures soon.
