hi forumites,

there have been a lot of threads about the Y2D-Darklord and i thought i will never ever get the chance to get my hands on one of this babes (made for US only).....and the neck-shape is so different....

yes, i wrote in those threads, that i´m glade to live in europe and can save money...and the neck-shape is so different...and i don´t have and GAS-Attacks for this guitar....but "never say never".....

here it is my Darklord, it´s used but in excellent condition - like they come from the factory!

Hey Hey!

Congrats, the Darklord looks fabulous.
Did you buy the one that was on Ebay some days ago?

Und...wenn du aus Nürnberg mal gen Hamburg fährst bring sie mit, ich bin nämlich genauso heiss auf das Teil gewesen. :)

Awesome! Congrats!! I really want one of these, but I just can't seem to get ahead in funding supplies. When you say the neck shape is different, do you mean different from a regular Morse or Y2D, or..? What is different about it?

thanks guys!

@meckintosh:
yes, that the one which was on the bay last week.
we worked out a good deal and shipping was very fast, that i was able to get it before xmas.

That's so cool! Is there a Y2D that you don't have? ;)
oh i guess yes, a PDN hardtail, a DDII, a Black Sugar (the first roadsted run)....i guess there would be a few more limited runs.
ah, and there have been a few all rosewood neck Y2Ds been around, but those are very hard to find.

Oh, and is the neck very different? :D
did i forgot to mention it? the neck is so different. ;)

yes, compared to the regular Y2D shape. the darklord has a 1959 les paul shape, which is really fat!
the Y2D neck feels like a child-toy against the Darklord neck. :)

wow congrats Joe, the nice thing is that now you have so many Y2D that you can swap necks in case this one feels so different ;)

Joe, you collection is just getting incredibly sick man. Real beauties you are picking up.

I'd love to try the LP style neck as I really like a fat neck too. Big congrats on this score. Play it in good health and happy holidays!

I agree - Joe, you almost have one Morse for each day of the week...
