JP70 will have a list price of $899 and a MAP street price of $629 FYI.

Time to call that favorite local dealer of yours and tell them to stop by at NAMM and come on board with Sterling By Music Man.

A purple AX40D sounds great! Look forward to learning pricing & availability on these.

Just another day at the ol' office, getting everything ready for NAMM. There's some non-production tidbits in the pictures, can you pick them out?

I just spotted the first photo above on Facebook and got really excited to see a lefty JP60. But then I arrived here and saw it was only available in black and my heart sunk. I would have LOVED an affordable JP, but there's just no way I can stomach another 'lefty special' black guitar.

I've been running a popular left handed guitar site for almost 3 years now and I constantly receive emails/comments/tweets etc about how bored (most of the) lefty players are (including myself) with largely being offered everything in black. So I just wanted to leave this post in the hopes that someone at Music Man might take notice and perhaps offer us something a little more vibrant next time. I hope I don't come across as being ungrateful, I would have been all over one of these if it were available in any other color :)

I also got excited when I saw the lefty purpleburst Axis on the front of the 2013 catalogue, but I guess that was just a design element :(

Get me in touch with that Forum and I'll certainly get on it and see exactly what we can do about bringing about some color to the Left Hand World!

These guitars are getting better and better, I'll check out the AX30D, AX40D and JP100D, I may get one or may be 2 or may be all of them.

When is the Red Ruby 100D going to be available?

Second week of February we are shipping to USA Independent Dealers. Stay tuned for a dealer list (It's Monday and I'm the only one in the office today - we took the day off since NAMM was so crazy for us :) I'm just trying get a head start on getting all the orders I took input into our system. Response at NAMM was off the charts!

I was really worried when I first saw the JP prototypes (black on black with more matt of black) but the colour choices for these models definitely knocked them out of the park.

Thanks so much for the compliment on the *colours*!

Yes, the prototypes were always going to be Satin Black, so once we finalized all the specifications I could go forward with some cool color choices. I do think that the Trans Green and Trans Purple really fit these well.

I hope we'll see some different colors for the New AX30D series. That's the only thing keeping me from picking up an AX30D. The wait continues....

I'm already working on new colors for AX30D for NAMM 2014, so stay tuned :)

By the way, what color would you prefer to see us release AX30D in?

I saw a headstock for a Sterling Luke on your facebook page. Can you provide us a sneak peek of the full prototype? I bet many SBMM-fans would love to get their hands on a more affordable version of the awesome Luke model.
