This finish looks AWESOME. I think I might like it even better than petrucci's silverburst :0

What do you guys think?

God that looks fine. I agree on the black hardware. Looks sexy as hell. Mark is a cool dude and has great taste in guitars!

I wonder if these have the new version of his pickups in it. See, it's different.

*edit: Just read his tweet: "My new JPX in Silverburst. Pickups are Dimarzio D Activator (bridge) and Dominion (neck). @ernieball @DiMarzioInc pic.twitter.com/nKPBFdbcub
Details"

Love the silver sparkle burst and the black hardware!!!

Looks like a great next new sparkle finish. *hint, hint* Sign me up for that paint finish on a HH LIII. Take my money EBMM, please!

Silverburst AND sparkle? Goodness gracious...if that was an available option I'd be on top of that in a heart beat. We can all hope for the PDN exclusives I guess.

Never thought about that combo before, but it'll be amazing!!

Little Off-topic: I wonder why EBMM stopped to make matching headstocks...could anyone enlighten me?

Matching headstocks is an option. I personally prefer non-matching, but that's me. If you order with matching they'll do matching, I think the Armada is you get what you get, but I don't know that 100%.

Ok, thanks.
I just realized that I put down the question in the wrong way: I wonder why EBMM stopped to make matching headstocks for the JP BFR series.
The two BFRs I had, had matching headstocks (and they looked killer, btw), but, since 2010 (if I can remember correctly), all JP BFRs had black headstocks..WHY!?!?!?

If I remember correctly, it was because EBMM was having a hard time matching the mahogany headstock color to the maple top.

Are you sure ? Because you have matching headstocks for JP BFR on the MM website, and I'm pretty sure I've seen many recent BFR pics with matching headstocks around here...?
