Hey folks, I wanna share this little video I did recently, using my trusty Luke 2. I hope you like it. ;)

Nice work! I've had that riff in my head for about a month now.

Thanks for the comments! The signal path for this one was very simple - guitar direct to Guitar Rig 5, EQ'd slightly in Cubase to sit better with the backing track.

I was skeptical about EMGs too, but I've changed my mind after trying out this guitar.

In my opinion, getting full-bodied, open, ballsy tone out of a Luke can be a little tricky if you come from a traditional background in terms of setting up gear.

One of the things I like a LOT about this guitar is its transparent, direct sound... you can put it through tons of gain & fx and it will still retain its definition and note separation, which gives you very large window to find your own thing. Very versatile, but it certainly requires some work and out-of-the-box approach for producing certain tones. Rewards your efforts at the end tho. :)

My hat is off!

I was originally a bassist, then a drummer, before focusing on 6-string the last couple years - I used to drum that tune because it was so much fun. Wish I had a guitarist around then who could keep up with the song like you! :)
