I went to a couple odd gc's in Denver. One didn't carry ebmm anymore. One had an AL but the neck was dry and frets were sprouting. Also had a Luke3 but it wasn't my thing. Both were around XXXX. The other store had a couple but not what I was looking for. A gold Reflex and a black burst Morse.

The prices are okay. A JP13 is on sale for $XXXX. I'd rather buy it for 15% off on Musiciansfriend (the next time they have a promotion and not pay shipping or sales tax.

Also I had to call like 3 stores before I found an employee who had any idea of what I was talking about and/or could find the clearance price.

ONE DAY after buying a new Luke III (not at GC), I saw this thread, and happened to be down in Orlando this afternoon. Of course, I made a point of stopping into Guitar Center, to see what EBMM inventory they had.

There were:
2 used JPs
1 new JP
2 new Reflex
3 new Albert Lee HH
1 new Albert Lee SSS
About a dozen basses, mainly Sting Rays

All except a sunburst AL were heavily discounted, most by about $600-800. The basses were ridiculous deals, like a brand new Stingray for $XXXX.

I walked out with the AL SSS, a beautiful bright blue ash body with all maple neck.

For less than a 1K!

There was no way I couldn't; just no way was I walking away from that.

I came to the forum to see what everyone else saw, because I saw the same thing today. I was at the Arlington Heights, IL GC and they didn't have too many in the Platinum Room, like they usually do. I saw an identical to mine, new Petrucci BFR JP6 for $XXXX, a Koa Petrucci JP6 for $XXXX and a JP12 for I think around $XXXX.

I traded a guitar I was no longer using straight across for a brand new loaded Mystic Dream JP. Nice complement to my Koa BFR, and I don't have to be afraid of gigging this one :). I actually got $100 more for the guitar from GC than I paid when I bought it, so great transaction all around.

There is a killer Silo Spec in the San Diego Guitar Center if anyone is interested. I almost went home with it... Unfortunately the Wife said I was walking back to Vegas if I did.

They also have a nice trans blue AL, a killer Y2d in solar burst and blue JPX with roasted/ebony neck.

If you have an interest call quickly, I had my sights set on four different clearance guitars and all were gone by the time I called.

If you call the Hollywood store ask for Nick very helpful fellow.

Barny,

These are extremely NOS and should be available for international shipping especially the Trans Purple Reflex. Call the store and find out!

Devin, not worth it considering I got a new guitar last month that I'm still in the honeymoon phase with... So much so that #1 has been sitting in the case since I got it. The wife let that one slide and I don't want to push my luck. I almost bought a PDN but declined as well for the same reason.
