Hi, i'd like to know some history facts (DOB, sold to... etc) about my Luke III, the serial number is G67595. It seems that there is a little shift between the strings and the neck. the high e-string is extremely close to the edge. are there any known issues like this?
Thanks a lot in advance!

Hello guys

Your Luke III HSS was completed on March 27th, 2013. The color is black with the roasted maple neck and rosewood fretboard. It was originally sold to Musik Meyer. There are no known issues with the neck tied to this model. With wood being such a variable material, it's possible the neck can shift in the pocket with temperature or humidity changes.

G67164.

Details on this one please.

This Axis was completed on June 17th, 2013. The color is purple quilt with the maple neck and matching headstock. It was originally sold to Guitar Center.

Hi!

I have a JP6 (Mystic Dream finish, piezo) with serial number: G65438

Two questions:

1. What is the DOB of this guitar?

2. What were the originally shipping strings (string gauges and type) for that guitar when it was made?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Jay

Hi! I have two EB MM Sterling basses I would love the production dates on:

White Sparkle Sterling: F06453
Black Sterling w/matching Headstock: F03479

Also, the necks feel pretty different between the two (the white one feels thinner than the black one). Any info on the differences between the two, and how they compare to the necks of the newest model Sterlings, would be very much appreciated...as I'm in the market for a third. ;)

Thank you!

There really isn't a difference in terms of spec, the only change to the Sterling neck since inception would be the addition of the compensated nut and neither of your basses have that.

The difference could be attributed to the fact that these are sanded by hand. One person may sand them a little thinner than the next. We do have a tolerance though so one is probably on the fatter side of tolerance and the other is the skinnier side of tolerance. Wood can shrink and swell over time too. That could be taken into consideration also.

hello ,
can you give me the DOB for G47408
and how many was made ,
thanks a lot

We don't give out production numbers but those were a popular guitar and we made a lot of them.
