I stripped the trem claw screw on my Jason Richardson Cutlass like an idiot while setting up the bridge, and Sterling doesn't sell tremolo claw screws on the site. I assume the answer would be yes, but EBMM insists on the site that you can't use EBMM parts on Sterling, so just making sure.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Did you strip the screw or did you strip the hole? If you stripped the hole, that requires a proper repair (drill out the hole, glue in a hardwood plug, drill pilot hole). If you stripped the screw, how did you do that?

Most trem claw screws are generic. MM uses #8x1.75” screws. So as long as the screw type matches the hole, you're good. (The screw head size/style doesn't matter so much.)

I had this issue with a Luke I bought a while ago. One of the trem claw screws was totally mangled and stuck in there. Had to use vice grips to turn it out. Then I replaced it with a generic #8x1.75 screw. (I had some Fender branded ones handy, but they're the same as what I have from Home Depot.)

Anyhow ... get the screw out, then try to match it to a generic screw type. Odds are it's #8x1.75".
