Hello, and NGD, Radium Kaizen

I had been wanting to try a MM for a while, and a little while ago, a Radium finish Kaizen showed up on reverb for a great price, so I snagged it.

I am really pleased with it, one of the nicest necks I've experienced, multi scale is pretty gentle, easy to adapt to.

One thing that surprised me a little, and this should have been obvious if I'd done a little research is that this came with the trem decked, which I gathered r is standard practice. I'll probably keep it that way, since I have another guitar with a floating Floyd, but I've been eyeing used Sabres, and I was curious if other. folks are successfully setting up their MMs to float,

I set the trem to float on my SUB and and on my AL and it works perfectly.

Nice score! I love my Kaizen - easily my favorite guitar to play now. I love love LOVE the neck - everything about it from shape to multi scale its just perfect. Whether you decide to float the trem or not, I recommend sticking with the same string gauge unless you are comfortable adjusting the nut slot width. They nut slots are cut very tight to spec for the recommended gauge - which is great! But I tried to go up a gauge and ran into that issue. Also - intonation must be adjusted if you switch gauge. These things are like Ferraris - every little thing matters in the set up!!!

Good to know. I will probably leave this the way it is, as I like to keep one decked or fixed bridge guitar around. I may buy a Sabre and float that.
