My preamp in my Sterling 5 crapped out on me so I am looking to replace the preamp and bypass using the switch as I always just run the bass in parallel like a standard stingray. I was wondering if anyone knew how to wire up a Sterling pickup with the 5 wires? Colors are Black, red, white, green and shielded.

I would contact EBMM customer service. They can probably help you with both the wiring and possibly fixing your preamp.

That was the first thing I did. Still waiting for some responses but I figured with this lovely forum as a resource someone may know. Appreciate the advice :)

Thank you, I have the schematic but I need the color codes as I’m not using the stock preamp or switch
