.065 Cobalt rounds get hung up on Bongo string tree

Has anybody experienced this? The outer wraps on the .065 (D string) and the .080 (A string) are wound such that just when the string gets to pitch the outer wrap has to go under the string tree. If you're not careful and pushing down on the string as it gets to pitch, the outer wrap can get hung up on the string tree. When that happens, the pitch of the string stops increasing and any additional tension gets applied to the portion of the string between the post and the tuner. I've broken a string at least once this way.

By way of a solution, I think if EB would just put an extra 1/2 or even 1/4 inch of outer wrap on the .065 and .080 string it would avoid this problem entirely. Since Cobalt's sound so good on Bongo's it seems like it would be something to strongly consider.

Update: EB Customer Service called me back (who does that anymore?) and we had a good discussion, including looking to see if the string tree is installed incorrectly, etc. It's great to have a company that you can actually talk to and that's interested in their customers and improving their products.
