Thank you, a kind sole put me on to a Japan auction site where a NOS nut was listed from the EX Axis era. It fits well and does the job... -

Let us know if you find anything. I have a 2013 and I tend to strip the things out. The R2 leaves space between the nut and fretboard.

What's the serial number? Run it thru the EBMM Serial Number DB (Serial Number Database ) to see when it was made. I bet you $1000 this...

AMaybe they got a faulty batch at Thomann Romania, where something happened while transport. I would strongly consider to buy the guitar...
