Ok boys what would you prefer a DD2 or one of the RW neck models? The window on the RW neck was much shorter than the DD2 order winder? So post a comment, and vote on the Poll. Remember the key is if you could only have one.

I went ahead and voted for the RW neck. As you can see from my sig, I am biased that way.....

But really, I would choose the RW neck over the DD2 because it is more of a feature towards the playability of the guitar.

From what I see the DD2 is an ebony fretboard, as well as unique paint and inlays. The ebony fretboard adds to the playability, but the paint and inlays are cosmetic.

The RW neck on the other hand, is like a gift that keeps giving. The feel is so nice and gets better the more you play it......

I would say that if you get a light colour (like that silver sparkle colour) with the RW neck, that would make a guitar that can be played and looked at........

I'll have to go with the BFR rosewood necks on this one...!
They're such a joy both to behold and to play and just keep getting better every day, plus they are just as much a collectors item as the Dargies...come to think of it I'd say the best is not to decide and get both...and a Big Poppa AL...AND A 25th...and a Y25D...and a Koa JP...now I scared myself!

The order window was basically the same length of time for the RW necks (Nov 17-Dec 17) as it is for the DD2 (July 13-Aug 13). Actually, you get 1 extra day for DD2 because July has 31 days in it while November has only 30.

I love the way the rosewood neck feels and looks, but I feel that it has to visually match the guitar.

That's why I love the all rosewood Axis line. It just flows throughout.

This also works for me because there is brown in the guitar.

This on the other hand totally doesn't work for me, but for others it's totally cool.
