Help! 1987 Stingray case

Hi all

Has anyone got a picture of an original 1987 SR4 case? Outside and inside would be great - thanks!

That's a mighty fine collection of Rays you have there!

No pics I'm afraid but I can tell you I bid on Ebay on an immaculate 1987 trans red 2 band with clear pg, with crazy birds eye maple neck - it had a tear drop shaped MM case with orange plush interior - as you can see I didn't win it - it went for around £1200 and I found out subsequently the case alone was worth possibly £350.
 
Thanks! I'm always looking out for the late 80s/early 90s Stingrays - my favourite period for EBs.

Prices seems to be a bit all over the place... There was a real nice 89 trans red at the Gallery in London recently, advertised for £899. Don't know what it went for though.

Unfortunately none of mine (apart from the 92 sunburst) came with the original case, hence my query.

Hopefully someone will have some pics!
 
Yes, I did see that one. But it that case the original one? It doesn't say...
 
Man thats an evil Ray collection! Are you sure its legal? I have an 88 Ray. I've always assumed the case was original. Are you still after pics of the case? I can sort some of mine if thats any help???
 
Hope these help mate. Just ignore the stuff inside the case. I wouldn't know if its original or not but I've always assumed it was.
