Hey All...

I found an old EBMM pamphlet from 1989 tucked away in the case of the 1989 Silo I recently bought.

I scanned it and thought some of you may find it interesting. There is an excerpt from Keith Richards interview with Guitar World in 1988.

I have some more pages with info on the Morse and some of the Bases available if your interested in them PM me... I can only attach 5 images at once.

Very cool - I remember seeing this somewhere when I was a kid. I also remember when Keith Richards was sporting that white sillouette - there was an article stating Keith gives his new guitar to his roadies for a year before trying them out because he likes them to be worked in somewhat.

Yeah the guitar (pics on the "Official" pics-o-my-guitar Thread) came with the mint pamphlet in the case and the original warranty card signed in 89 by Scott Ball.

The Silo looks like someone bought it and hid it under their bed for 22 years. Very cool.

I'll scan the other pages and post them.

Thanks for posting. :) I remember that era, although the oldest brochure I have is circa 1991 or 1992. That brings back good memories of where I was and what I was doing at that time.

When people remember "the good old days" with respect to many guitar manufacturers, it usually implies that the products were better in the past. With EBMM, the products were great in the past and have consistently continued to improve. Think about it fellow knuckleheads: all the innovations, new features, and new models that have come out since the mid 80s with no reduction in quality or craftsmanship. EBMM really is a unique and remarkable company! I'm glad to have been along for the ride.
