2 band output

Hi everyone,I bought a MM SR4H 2 band eq. yesterday and I was surprised that she has a lot less output than my 3 band SR 4H even with a brand new battery,with the same p.u. height and bass and treble at max.Is it normal or there's a problem with something ?...........thanks

I noticed this too but I think what you and I are hearing is "loudness" and not actual lower output.

Simply put, the 3 EQ affects frequencies that we readily hear thus giving our ears the impression that the 2 EQ sounds softer by comparison.
