2-position pickup switch on single-humbucker short-scale Sterling StingRay

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I do not see a forum search box.

I have a new short-scale Stirling StingRay. The pickup switch has only 2 positions (which I would describe as up/counterclockwise and down/clockwise, not 3 positions. How do the 2 positions configure the humbucker?

It used to be a three-way switch and the website still says three-way switch so I think you have a faulty unit. It should be going clockwise it shold series/single coil/parallel (i.e. parallel is the furthest clockwise).

Contact your store for warranty info and reach out to Sterling by Music Man too. Obviously being NAMM week response times will be slow.
