I know, I just don't "get" that one...
Why charge a premium for it when I can do it myself (with the help of a few drunk audience members) for free?
I have a custom made T-shirt that says on the front "I SEE DRUNK PEOPLE." I should wear that shirt more often.

Okay...I thought my dear husband had shown great maturity when he said he should wait...but I don't actually recall hearing him say anything...it may have been a nod, or a grunt that I assumed meant he agreed with my wise and thoughtful advice....I see now that I was mistaken. :eek: He has always been so "logical" in his purchase decisions, never once purchasing a bass for purely emotional reasons. :rolleyes: Until this moment, he has had me completely fooled!!! :D

Darn you Mr. Ball, you marketing genius, you! :mad: You've turned my husband from a passionate bass lover into a foaming-at-the-mouth, frenzied, pacing, hand-wringing, agitated, sleep-deprived, fanatical, obsessed, glassy-eyed, quivering mass of lunacy.

Dear Mrs.sitonmybass, I feel your pain... unfortunately, you're preaching to the converted. We're mostly a quivering mass of foaming-at-the-mouth, frenzied, pacing, hand-wringing, agitated, sleep-deprived, fanatical, obsessed, glassy-eyed EBMM nuts here.

You're right. I am preaching to the converted, so perhaps you'll appreciate this little anecdote...Tonight my husband's band, Stormbringer, played at one of their more high-end venues. While performing Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody," instead of singing "Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me," he sang, "Big Al-zebub has a five-string put aside for me...for me...for meeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" I don't think the audience noticed, but I almost fell off my bar stool. :eek:

He's wearin' me down, Boys and Girls...Not to mention that when we viewed the NAMM pics, we both audibly drew our breath in when we saw the blue BIG AL 5 single H.

Oh my... I finally got to ask... you don't happen to have a beautiful unmarried sister that would like to move to Switzerland?! Looking at bass pictures together, how unbelievably romantic!

On February 15th, my Big Al 5 single H rosewood was ordered. :D

I had only saved up enough money to cover the 25% down payment when I placed the order. :eek:

Just today I sold a bass to help finance the Big Al 5 single H rosewood. :)

Your response stuck with me and helped me to make what I know was the right decision. :rolleyes:
