If it is out of line to post a sale here, please delete. For anybody interested, I am probably going to sell my Sterling Fretless, and would like the forum to have first crack. It has the piezo bridge option and Music Man hardshell case. Serial # is F03765, 2001 model. I’m asking $975 shipped, to USA only. It has an unlined pao ferro fingerboard, which is absolutely stunning in person—in fact, the whole bass is stunning, and in beautiful shape. There is a mark on the back near the battery compartment which was touched up with black paint. It is a crude touchup, but works. There are a couple of tiny dings in the headstock top edge. There is a very small paint defect at one end of the pickup selector switch, which isn’t visible except under extremely close inspection—see arrow on shot of back. Other than these items, the paint and body are in gorgeous shape. Everything is stock on the bass, with the exception of the straplocks, which I’ve added. To my ears, it has a slightly lower sustain on the G string, fret areas 5-9, although others don’t seem to notice. Let me know if you are interested. At this time, I really don’t want to come down in price, but I’ll pay the shipping, which helps a little. Please understand that I am not interested in any trades.
