Guys do you know what type of finish was used on neck in 2005. My SR5 and the fretless neck I have are both 2005 and are my favorite finish.
Just wondering if anybody has an idea
Cheers

Wow it feels much different, but this is good as it means the neck on my 25 th should feel like the others. Maybe I just need to build up a bit more wax on it.
Cheers guys

A couple of months ago I did a oil and wax session on one of the 'Rays I played most often. Made a huge difference. Felt like a new instrument afterwards. May be worth a try...

Cheers Oli I gave it a go and it is getting closer. I think time and multiple layers is the key.
