Limited Edition, yes. We (Vintage Bass Trading Co) have quite a few on order, in fact, and will be glad to talk to you about them.

But the Bongo is a ways off from having a 30th Anniversary......

Yeah, that was a dumb question. Sorry. When do you expect them to be in? I am interested in a fretless if they are going to make them in the black and gold.

SodaPops,

I have read your message threads, and I think we all understand that you got a raw deal. But you got your money back. There are several places where you can purchase the EBMM of your choice and NOT get screwed.

Yes, I am curious about when they will hit the streets. I think there are a lot of us that feel it's taking a good long while. But I always feel that way when I want a new guitar. Or a car. Or anything else. So, I will put this as kindly as possible. BE PATIENT!

They are working on it. It takes a while. There is no conspiracy to keep you from buying one. They will get here eventually. And you can buy as many as you like.

Enjoy,

Ritchie

Sorry to have brought up the subject. I only repeated the question to bovinehost so I would know when to plan a trip to Phoenix.

No need to be, it was a valid question. I was replying to SodaPop's post.

He got a raw deal from his guitar shop, sure, but his apparent annoyance at EB is kind of misplaced. His dealer took his order and money (as I understand it) a month before NAMM, when Ernie Ball started taking orders for them from dealers. The initial orders are going to be hitting the stores later this month. That's a pretty good turn around, IMHO.
