My guitarist just left my house. We'd been checking out my pics from the weekend and chatting about the event.

He was completely blown away.

"Do all the instrument companies do this?" he asked as the wheels in his head are spinning.

I told him no and I can see his mind really start working (my guitarist is a bit of a character - I call him "our Keith Moon" of the band)...

Then he says to me: "You know? I'm gonna call F@nder and tell the about this. I got three of their guitars! I want them to do this for me!"

I had to explain to him that it wasn't likely to happen...

Really...

Anthony,

He plays a F. . . . r !! Anthony, I'm surprised at you!! LOL Although I know you've tried. Tell him how lucky he is to be in a band with you!!

Besides, I don't think it's the amount of F. . . . .r guitars owned that is going to pursuade that company to duplicate "our" bashes. It's the "owner's" heart in the matter! - - - -Yeah, for "our" music company!!- - - -

Yep - and substitue F@nder for any other company (it just so happened that my guy played 'em and it's a true representation of our discussion).

The moral here is how freakin' cool EBMM is and why I'm a player for life! :)

Great story, Anthony....

Seems the poor fella might be just a tad reality-challenged...LOL :D

I had to try to explain how special this was to my wife. Still not sure she quite gets it. Whenever I start to go on about EBMM she just gives me that pitying half-smile, says "that's nice, dear" and pats me on the head.
