Here are the new colors that were displayed at Summer NAMM 2008. These finishes all have a nice amount of flake and pearl. They are available on all models except the Steve Morse Y2D and BFR series. The Pearl White will not be available on the Axis or Bongo line. I'll probably get some more photos up soon too. Enjoy!

Very cool. Are these available for ordering now?

I need to send Pete an email. It just dawned on me that I never actually followed through with him on strap locks. :-/

Geez have I been waiting for this post - sometimes patiently, sometimes not so patiently. But it was worth the wait. WOO-HOO!!! Sterling Silver! Man, that looks fan-freakin-tastic. Dig a few of the others too. Very nice. Man, I haven't even received my Stealth Bongo 4HH yet. But a Sterling Silver Bongo 4H is a must have, and a will have.

Thanks for the eagerly awaited update Dargin!

I can't say I like the Olive Gold though...

did you see the pic with Poppa playing an SR4 in that finish? Looked quite exquisite.

Is the sterling silver the same as the bongo 6ers that Myung got?

very nice colors. A silver bongo is on my scope.

When are they available for ordering?

BP you’re a very talented man and have many skills. One of those skills is that you’re a master salesman. How the hell am I going to sell the idea I need more basses just because of the cool colors to my wife?

Beautiful colors, all of them! Killer pickguards too, I think Jewel is going to get a new dress. :D

I would love to see what that gold swirl pg looks like on an '06 LE. Can we order pg's direct or have to go through a dealer?

My favourites are the sterling silver and electric blue. I generally don't like blue basses, but that one kicks ass! And the white one, oh yeah, too bad we can't have that on the Bongos...

Now for the follow-up question: Does this mean some colors might be discontinued?

Bass Body Interchangeable?

Hey Dargin.
I have the 5 String Bongo in Black. But I've fallen in love with the look of that SS. Was wondering if one could purchase just the bass body to interchange?
